Hygienic masks. Customizable and reusable!

What is a hygienic mask?

The purpose of face masks, such as surgical masks, is to prevent the transmission of infectious agents from the person who is wearing the mask to the environment. They are not personal protective equipment but the use of the mask reduces the viral exposure and the risk of infection at population level.

Reusable masks are a safe protection system and provide an environmentally responsible solution.

Customizable, washable and reusable hygienic mask for adults and children according to UNE 0065: 2020. Certified mask according to report 2020TM2032 of the Textile Research Institute AITEX. Product made in Europe with 100% renewable energy and with the minimum environmental impact (ISO 14001). By reusing we promote the circular economy and a responsible resource consumption (ODS-12). Therefore, from Arpe we want to offer a safe protection system so that we can protect ourselves by generating less waste.

New sizes and fastening systems

We have 3 different mask sizes. The small one is indicated for kids between 3 and 6 years old; the medium size for minors between 7 and 14 years old. Finally, for adults we recommend size L. Moreover, we have 3 different fastening systems: mask with ties, ear loop mask and head loop mask.

100% Polyester Mask

We have white masks or we can customize them with your corporate image. Our reusable and washable polyester mask is the most comfortable in the market. It’s adaptable and it’s completely made of polyester to offer a pleasant softness.

According to the Ministry of Health, the bacterial filtration efficiency must be higher than or equal to 90%. Arpe masks comply with this regulation with 92% efficiency according to the results obtained in the AITEX approved laboratory.

Reusable masks are a safe protection system and provide an environmentally responsible solution.

Our masks offer a 29 Pa / cm2 of breathability according to the results obtained in the approved laboratory AITEX

Our reusable masks are made with three layers of high filtration 100% polyester multifilament (CN + GR + GR)

Our reusable masks are certified

Certified mask according to report 2020TM2032 of the Textile Research Institute AITEX. Results following the norm UNE EN 14683:2019+A- C:2019 of a new mask: 92% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) and 29 Pa/cm2 breathability.

According to the results after 20 washes in a domestic washing machine, the filtration capacity of our masks improves with 95% filtration. In contrast, cotton masks do the exact opposite, they cannot withstand washing. Therefore, from Arpe we want to offer a much safer protection system and that we can protect ourselves by generating less waste.

Washing and drying the mask

  • A complete washing cycle (moisten, wash, rinse), with the usual detergent, must be carried out at a washing temperature of at least 60°C. Avoid contact between a dirty mask (to be washed) and clean clothes. The person in charge of the washing must protect himself to handle dirty masks.
  • Do not use products that can degrade or damage the materials and diminish their protective capacity. It is recommended to dry the mask completely within 2h after washing. Do not dry or sanitize it with a microwave oven. After each wash cycle, a visual inspection (with protective gloves or washed hands) should be done.

Our manufacturing process

In our factory we have the necessary means to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene conditions. To manufacture our masks we have a production process, which goes from design, weaving, cutting, printing to the manufacturing of the mask.

Maximum continuous use duration

For comfort and hygiene reasons, it is recommended not to use the mask for more than 4 hours or until you notice that it is wet (which may be earlier, depends on the person). In case it gets wet or deteriorates from use, it is recommended to replace it with a new one. The mask should be washed every time it becomes dirty, moistened, or cannot be placed correctly on the face.

The mask should not be used if it is dirty or wet. In case it’s temporarily stored, contact with any surface should be avoided. It should also not be placed in a waiting position on the forehead or under the chin during and after use.
